Riverside Community Church was a Presbyterian church at 2930 Woodward. It was part of the Presbytery of Detroit, started in an effort to ​"find new ways to reach out to the community that are more fitting to the modern world in which we have to work".​ Brenda Jarvis was pastor. 

Started in 2009 (I believe), it officially closed in April 2012 (PDF). The Thistle coffee shop lives on.
